CASTLE ROCK, Colo. – Diners at the iconic Delmonico’s steakhouse in New York can get a behind-the-scenes look at the restaurant’s producers and production practices simply by using their smart phones. Using the Where Food Comes From application, patrons can scan a quick response (QR) code on the restaurant’s menus to access information regarding the origin of the beef they order.

“By providing our customers with an unprecedented level of transparency and connecting them to the source of the food they order, we offer them an additional layer of confidence that they are eating the finest beef available anywhere," said Dennis Turcinovic, managing partner of Delmonico's.

Delmonico’s partnered with Integrated Management Information, Inc. (IMI Global), which provides third-party verification, identification, traceability and Internet solutions for the livestock and agriculture industries.
