HOUSTON – Sysco Corporation announced several leadership appointments that will be effective July 1.
Chuck Staes, senior vice president of Foodservice Operations, North Region, was appointed senior vice president-Foodservice Operations, Specialty Companies. Staes will oversee Sysco's Meat Company operations, SYGMA, IFG, FreshPoint and European Imports.
Joel Grade, president ofSysco Canada, was promoted to senior vice president-Foodservice Operations, North Region, which includes the company's markets in Canada, as well as the Mideast and Northeast US.
Scott Sonnemaker, senior vice president of Foodservice Operations, West Region, was appointed to the new position of senior vice president-Sales.
Greg Bertrand, market vice president of Foodservice Operations, Midwest, was promoted to senior vice president of Foodservice Operations, West Region, which includes Sysco's Midwest, Rocky Mountain and Pacific markets.
