SÃO PAULO, Brazil – JBS SA announced changes to the company’s executive leadership in the US and Australia. Andre Nogueira was appointed CEO of JBS Australia. He was chief financial officer of JBS USA for four years.

JBS SA also created South and North operating units in Australia. Brent Eastwood, who has worked for the company for 20 years, was named operations director (COO) of the Northern Unit which will include plants in Queensland and New South Wales. Sam McConnell, an executive with the company, will be COO of the Southern Unit, which includes plants in Victoria, King Island, South Australia and Tasmania.

"Andre's appointment as CEO and Sam and Brent as COO will strengthen our management structure in Australia, providing a more focused management of our North and South operations, including the beef and lamb activities,” said Wesley Batista, Global CEO of JBS SA. “These three professionals are completely aligned with our culture and management style, always focused on detail in order to continuously improve the performance of our business.”

In the US, Denilson Molina was named CFO of JBS USA. He joined the company in 2011 after working more than 18 years for Banco do Brasil.

"Along with Don Jackson and the other executives in the United States, Denilson is an important appointment to our executive team,” Batista said. “As a qualified professional, he will continue our financial management focused on adding value and generating results for our businesses there.”
