ARLINGTON, Va. –– The new US Poultry & Egg Association, American Feed Industry Association and the American Meat Institute 2013 Expo in Atlanta has been named The International Production & Processing Expo (IPPE) as an umbrella theme.

The co-location of the International Poultry Expo (IPE), International Feed Expo (IFE), and AMI’s International Meat Expo (IME) has resulted in this new show. All three shows will operate under one structure, creating one of the 50 largest tradeshows in the US. Estimates indicate the entire tradeshow will include more than 1,000 exhibitors and almost 400,000 net square feet of exhibit space.

All three associations, however, will operate independently and serve their respective constituents by offering targeted education and networking opportunities designed to meet the customer needs and compliment the Expo.

AMI officers said its existing priority system will be worked into the tenure seniority system for IPPE exhibitors.

Plans include hosting a reception on the show floor from 4-6 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 29. An announcement of the anticipated educational programs will be released in June.

IPPE show hours are Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2013, 11 a.m. – 6 p.m.; Wednesday, Jan. 30, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.; and Thursday, Jan. 31, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
