WASHINGTON – The North American Meat Association (NAMA) is hosting a 90-minute webinar that will cover current policies regarding the shiga-toxin producing E. coli (STEC) strains that FSIS has declared adulterants, as well as the agency’s actions to date.

Discussion points will include FSIS test results, industry HACCP reassessments, and future agency initiatives. In addition, speakers will discuss the status of testing technologies, scientific information plants need to support facility systems, and potential changes to food safety systems.
