FRANKFURT, Germany – Attendees of IFFA 2013 May 4-9 will find a new and optimized layout at the Frankfurt Trade Fair and Exhibition Centre.

Hall 11, with floors 11.0 and 11.1, is being used for the first time. On both levels, suppliers in packaging, supply facilities and measuring and weighing technologies will be showcasing their innovations. In addition, market leaders working in areas related to processing and cutting will be in Hall 11.1.

Products relating to the topic "Sales — everything for the butcher's shop" and the manufacturers of packaging materials will, for the first time, be located in Hall 4.1. Exhibitors of products relating to ingredients, spices and additives are represented one floor below that, on Level 4.0.

"There will be a new, optimized layout at the Exhibition Centre for IFFA 2013. By including Hall 11, we shall be able to concentrate the whole range of machinery and equipment compactly at the western end of the Exhibition Centre," said Wolfgang Marzin, chair of the Executive Board at Messe Frankfurt. "This means shorter distances for visitors to walk and a clearer layout. Moreover, with its magnificent Portalhaus, it offers visitors a new main entrance at the western end. Hall 11 is the newest and most modern of all the halls at the Exhibition Centre and provides a very attractive ambience.

And, by no means least, with our new concept for the halls, we shall be able to meet, in full, the long-felt wish of many exhibitors for an increase in exhibition floor space."

Messe Frankfurt estimates that some 950 exhibitors from 47 countries will be presenting their innovations over a floor area of more than 100,000 square meters. Approximately 58,000 visitors are expected.
