KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Spotlighting the perspectives of meat and poultry industry executives and experts on the latest news and trends, “Meat&Poultry Perspectives,” a new video series of The Processors Channel, will debut Nov. 12 on www.meatpoultry.com. The industry’s leading authority on livestock handling and Meat&Poultry’s most tenured contributing editor, Dr. Temple Grandin is the focus of the first bi-weekly series. In each segment, Grandin talks about her life’s work in the industry and the evolution of animal-welfare practices, including technology advances that have served to raise the bar and ensure compliance with today’s standards.

Joel Crews, editor of Meat&Poultry, says the new video series will bring online subscribers closer to the issues and trends by delivering the sources and their views in a video format.

“Temple Grandin typifies the caliber of subject-matter experts we have scheduled in future segments of ‘Meat&Poultry Perspectives,’” said Crews. “When Temple talks, people listen,” he said, “and in the weeks to come we believe readers will look forward to seeing and hearing what she has to say.”

The new video series featuring Grandin will be posted as part of “The Processors Channel” on www.meatpoultry.com beginning Nov. 12 and will be updated bi-weekly through the month of December.
