ATLANTA – Mark Waller of Ingram Farms, Cullman, Ala. was elected chairman of the board of directors of the US Poultry and Egg Association (USPOULTRY) at the group's meeting during the 2012 International Poultry Expo.

Waller has served on the USPOULTRY board of directors since 2005. He was previously vice chairman. Waller worked for Tyson Foods 19 years as plant manager and complex manager before joining Ingram in 1998. Waller is currently sales and processing director for Ingram Farms. He succeeds Gary Cooper of Cooper Farms, Oakwood, Ohio. He is the chief operating officer at the family-owned business.

James Adams will fill the role of vice chairman. Adams, is president and chief executive officer of Wenger's Feed Mill, Rheems, Penn. He joined the company in 1980 and has worked in a variety of positions in egg production, feed manufacturing, transportation, purchasing and sales and marketing.

Elton Maddox, Wayne Farms, Oakwood, Ga., was named treasurer. Maddox joined Wayne Farms in 1974 and has served in various management positions within the company. He is currently president and CEO.

Sherman Miller, Cal-Maine Foods, was named secretary. Miller joined Cal-Maine in 1997. He is currently chief operating officer.
