TORONTO, Ontario – Pizza Pizza, Canada’s leader in quick-service pizza, is prepped for one of its busiest days of the year – Super Bowl Sunday. The company is optimistic that sports fans will continue to indulge on pizza and wings during the most-watched football game of the year.

Pizza Pizza is introducing Buffalo-style menu items that include a new Buffalo Chicken Pizza and new Buffalo chicken wings, available at Pizza Pizza locations in Ontario, Quebec, Manitoba and Saskatchewan.

The Buffalo-style menu items are supplement other new products just launched, which include: a new chili dish; and a poutine dish with fries, gravy and cheese curds.

The Super Bowl, which will be played in Indianapolis on Feb. 5, is traditionally the second busiest day of the year for the national pizza chain. The company expects to see over 28,000 orders processed during the peak hours of 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. Last year, the company's restaurants across Canada sold over 40,000 pizzas and 200,000 chicken wings on Super Bowl Sunday.
