MINNEAPOLIS – Buffalo Wild Wings sent an open letter to the team owners and football players on behalf of football fans throughout the US in an effort to amplify the voice of the fans in the ongoing labor disagreement in professional football. The company and its guests throughout the US want the game back on the field.

Buffalo Wild Wings informed both parties about the restaurant’s Save Our Season Facebook Petition and added it will celebrate the return of football with a reward for fans who have joined the movement. Buffalo Wild Wings has pledged if the players and owners compromise on their differences and come to an agreement to return to the field by July 20 – the first day players are scheduled to report to training camp – everyone who signs the Save Our Season petition will be awarded six free wings to be redeemed with the return of professional football in September.

Should labor peace be achieved by that date, the Buffalo Wild Wings guests who signed the petition will receive a coupon for six free wings via Facebook notification. The Save Our Season Six Free Wings promotion will be the highlight of Buffalo Wild Wings’ celebration of pro football with fans nationwide.

“We live and breathe all sports and so do our guests,” said Kathy Benning, Buffalo Wild Wings executive vice president, marketing and brand development. “We keep hearing from our fans how much they want a football season and we want them to know we’re happy not only to serve as their voice, but also to celebrate the return of football and their passion for the game.”

Buffalo Wild Wings Inc. operates more than 765 locations throughout 45 states in the US, as well as in Canada.
