OMAHA, Neb. – Omaha Steaks, debuted recently on NBC's reality series, “The Celebrity Apprentice.” In this episode, teams were challenged to write, produce and star in a live cooking demonstration featuring three occasion-specific Omaha Steaks meals and to create an original Omaha Steaks variety package. More than 8.09 million viewers watched this show.

During the episode, traffic on the company's website was more than nine times the daily average for the time period.


Omaha Steaks also hosted a charity red carpet premier party in Omaha in celebration of this event, where Celebrity Apprentice star Meat Loaf (Marvin Lee Aday, American rock star and actor) was the guest of honor. Proceeds from the event will benefit his charity, The Painted Turtle, a camp in Lake Hughes, Calif., for seriously ill children, and Omaha Performing Arts.
