LENEXA, Kansas – Daryl Pint has been appointed chief executive officer of the Ceva Biomune Campus in Lenexa, Kan., Ceva Santé Animale announced. Pint assumes his new role after serving as vice president of industrial operations. He will report to Thierry Le Flohic, Global Biotech Campus Management and Industrial Operations Director for the Biology Business Unit.

Pint is responsible for managing the campus, including all departments and functions dedicated to biologics: research and development, regulatory affairs and compliance, production, and all support related functions. He will also represent Ceva on the KC Animal Health Corridor advisory board.


In fall of 2010, Pint joined the company and assumed responsibility for completing a new manufacturing plant dedicated to recombinant vaccines. He is a biotechnology industry veteran with 27 years of diverse, hands-on experience in all phases of biotech operations management.

Before joining Ceva, Pint was senior manager of technical operations for Novartis. For nearly 20 years, he helped Fort Dodge Animal Health increase efficiency, manage budgets and supply, and handle daily operations for a variety of business units and plants.

Bourgeois will continue to oversee the global biology unit for Ceva Sante Animale. Having directed and grown American and global biology businesses for five years, he returned to headquarters in France in September to focus on generating further growth through Ceva’s highly strategic biological business.

In North America, Ceva’s key poultry products include CEVAC Transmune IBD, Vectormune FP and Vectormune HVT. Key companion animal products include the Vectra line of parasiticides, D.A.P. and Feliway
pheromone behavior aids and Senilife neuroprotection for aging pets. Ceva’s North America Zone headquarters are located in Lenexa, Kansas.
