“A 24-year-old man from Unionville has admitted to writing threatening graffiti last month in Tyson’s Shelbyville plant,” Tyson spokesman Gary Mickelson told MEATPOULTRY.com. “Zachary Wilson signed a confession Monday and has been taken into custody by Shelbyville police. He has also been released from employment by Tyson Foods. Wilson had been employed as a production worker at Tyson’s Shelbyville plant for the past four months.
“We’re disappointed one of our employees would write such graffiti in our plant, but are pleased the person responsible for it has been determined and will now be held accountable,” he added. “We thank the officers and investigators of the Shelbyville Police Department for their outstanding work in this matter."
