CHICAGO — The North American Meat Processors Association announced Dr. Dan Engeljohn, assistant administrator for the Food Safety and Inspection Service Office of Policy and Program Development, will address attendees on the topic of Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point system validation at the upcoming Prevention ofE. coliO157:H7 for Beef Further Processors conference. The conference will be held Sept. 28-29 at the Four Points by Sheraton at Chicago’s O’Hare Airport.


Dr. Engeljohn will update participants on the current status of the agency’s draft guidance document, “H.A.C.C.P. Systems Validation” during the morning session on Wednesday, Sept. 29.
