KANSAS CITY, MO. — Heat and Control Inc., a manufacturer and food industry equipment company, recently announced the acquisition of Fabcon Food Systems Ltd., a provider of bespoke processing and handling equipment systems for the food industry.
Tony Caridis, president of Heat and Control, explained how the acquisition marks another milestone in the company’s growth, fostering innovation and creating new opportunities while bringing in additional expertise from the Fabcon Foods Systems team.
“Fabcon Food Systems manufactures a broad range of innovative, reliable and cost-effective food processing solutions for the snack food, french fry and protein industries that complement our existing range of products, including a full range of vibratory conveyors, allowing us to deliver even more innovative solutions to our global customers,” Caridis said.
Based in the United Kingdom and established in 2013, Fabcon Food Systems offers processing solutions for the snack food, french fry, and protein industries, including processing, sorting, product handling, precision flavoring, weighing and packing systems.
Caridis noted Fabcon brings a highly skilled, customer-focused technical team and a world-class manufacturing facility in Europe.
“The addition of these high-quality solutions will allow our global sales network to confidently serve existing customers while also creating opportunities to expand into new markets,” Caridis said.
Heat and Control’s acquisition of Fabcon also provides more customized solutions, looks to set the standard for yield and efficiency in several industries.

In April, Heat and Control announced the acquisition of two other brands in England specializing in thermal processing.
