SPRINGDALE, ARK.— Tyson Foods Inc. announced it would promote two executives to expanded roles across its meat business.

Devin Cole was named group president of poultry, where he will succeed Wes Morris, who plans to retire early next year. Morris will assist with the transition to Cole throughout 2025.

Cole joined Tyson in August 2024 as president of the international business segment. The company said he would continue to oversee the global business unit.

Along with his roles as group president of beef, pork and chief supply chain officer, Brady Stewart will now oversee the prepared foods segment of Tyson.

“I am grateful for Devin and Brady’s leadership and commitment to this company and am confident that their expertise in these new roles will help shape the future of Tyson Foods,” said Donnie King, president and chief executive officer for Tyson Foods. “This is an exciting time for our company, and these appointments will enable continued focus on operational excellence, innovation and talent development as we drive sustained, profitable growth.”

Stewart came to Tyson in December 2022 after working for Smithfield Foods. He also previously worked as chief operating officer of Kansas City Sausage Co., before Smithfield acquired it.

Along with his time at Tyson, Cole has worked executive jobs for Keystone Foods and George’s Inc.
