CHICAGO McDonald’s Corp. announced it has renewed its partnership with Teaneck, NJ-based technology provider Cognizant, to continue developing artificial intelligence (AI) and cloud-based solutions for the company. Cognizant and McDonald’s partnership began in 2017, and the latest multi-year agreement is expected to propel innovation and ensure operational efficiencies in McDonald’s global finance and management of its human resource programs.

Cognizant provides McDonald’s with expertise in digital engineering, quality assurance services, as well as delivering foodservice-industry-focused cloud, enterprise AI and generative AI solutions.

Cognizant’s Anup Prasad, senior vice president and head of the consumer business, said the two companies have collaborated over the years to transform McDonald’s from a legacy company to a technology-rich cloud-based business.
