CARLYLE, ILL. – The Maschhoffs LLC announced on Aug. 25 that Jay Miller, doctor of veterinary medicine (DVM), will take over the role of chief executive officer and president of the company.
Miller previously served as vice president of health and operations starting in 2018. He will succeed Bradley Wolter, DVM, who will step down from the top job but will continue to serve on the board of directors.
“Dr. Bradley Wolter has led this company with exceptional skill, and I am committed to building upon his achievements and taking it to new heights,” Miller said. “Together, we will chart a path of groundbreaking advancements, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and improvement. Our team’s dedication and expertise will drive us forward, shaping the future of our industry.”
Wolter started working as president of Maschhoffs in 2015.
Wolter said he plans to spend more time with his family and work as president of a company he started, Windy Hill Meadows LLC.
“Over the past couple of decades, I have shared a passion with The Maschhoffs in producing quality, safe meat protein with an intense focus on a sustainable farm system at its core,” Wolter said. “While the future will present new challenges, they will be faced by a strong team with shared values and a robust purpose at The Maschhoffs. I look forward to my continued engagement with them.”
