DALLAS — Dickey’s Barbecue Pit recently launched the Mac & Cheese Sausage as a limited time offering at participating restaurants.

The barbecue company will offer a smoked kielbasa-style pork sausage, spices and smoked brisket that will be stuffed with macaroni and cheddar cheese. The item will be available between May 22 and August 30.

“We are so excited about the launch of our new and unique Mac & Cheese Sausage,” said Laura Rea Dickey, chief executive officer of Dickey’s Barbecue Restaurants, Inc. “It’s a combination of guest favorites. We’ve also never had sampling events with such high demand, so we can’t wait to make it available to barbecue lovers across the country.”

Dickey’s stated that its original Kielbasa sausage and spicy cheddar jalapeño sausage remain available nationwide.

The brand’s sausage is handcrafted at Dickeys USDA manufacturing and distribution plant, WD Provisions, in Mesquite, Texas.
