NEW YORK — As summer rapidly approaches, the American Lamb Board (A.L.B.) is kicking off its third annual "Get Your Grill On" video competition. Lamb fans are invited to participate in this year's "American Lamb Burger Bonanza" by sharing their beloved recipes for the ultimate lamb burger.

Contestants are being asked to submit a three to five minute video showing how they get their grill on, specifying the recipe, what cut they used and why they love lamb. Videos will be reviewed by a panel of grilling experts to select a winner announced on July 15, in time for the winning grill master to receive two tickets to the N.Y.C. Wine & Food Festival's "Burger Bash" www.nycwineandfoodfestival.com/2010. All entrants will receive Fan of Lamb gear.

American lamb is ideal for grilling, ranging from the rack to a number of budget-friendly cuts of lamb for the grill, like loin chops, sirloin, butterflied leg, ribs and ground lamb.

Contests can submit videos in DVD, QuickTime or online link (no VHS) to Get Your Grill On C/O Baltz and Company, 49 W. 23rd Street, 9th Floor, New York, NY 10010 or via e-mail to [email protected].
