ROCKFORD, ILL. — On Nov. 18, a settlement between Chick-fil-A Inc. and Tyson Foods Inc. was reached regarding a poultry price-fixing case.

Chick-fil-A had filed an antitrust suit against the poultry processor, and an investigation into Tyson’s sales of broiler chicken products was underway.

In exchange for Chick-fil-A’s dismissal with prejudice, Tyson has agreed “to provide timely, fulsome, and satisfactory ongoing cooperation” to the quick-service chicken chain, the court document stated. Any costs and fees will also be paid by both companies.

The US District Court for the Northern District of Illinois Eastern Division declared the dismissal, signed by Judge Thomas M. Dunkin.

Upon request of the companies, further details of the case and settlement are under seal.
