ATLANTA — Papa Johns Inc. announced its upcoming roll out of a new product named Papa Bowls.

The company said the bowls will not have a crust and include three options.

“We are very excited to offer Papa Bowls as a new menu category and as a new way consumers can experience our premium ingredients,” said Scott Rodriguez, Papa Johns senior vice president of Menu Strategy and Product Innovation. “Our signature crust continues to be a beloved favorite, but we know that sometimes customers crave something different. We want them to know we are committed to delivering on all of those cravings through our menu.”

The first option will be the Italian Meats Trio that layers pepperoni, sausage and meatballs with pizza and alfredo sauces. The bowl also includes green peppers, onions, tomatoes, cheese and Italian seasoning.

Another option is the Chicken Alfredo which features chicken with spinach, mushrooms, onions and tomatoes topped with a cheese blend and Italian seasoning.

Finally, the Garden Veggies includes spinach, mushrooms, onions, green peppers, tomatoes and banana peppers. The bowl is baked with the company’s pizza sauce, garlic parmesan with cheeses and Italian seasoning.

Papa Bowls are available exclusively for Papa Rewards loyalty members starting Aug. 15 and nationally starting Aug. 22.
