LOS ANGELES — Los Angeles baseball fans have enjoyed the Dodger Dog from Farmer John for more than 45 years. When the Los Angeles Dodgers take the field for their home opener against the Arizona Diamondbacks on April 13, Farmer John Smoked Sausages will debut at Dodger Stadium.

Available in Italian, Polish and Louisiana Hot, fans can also grab a free sausage sample on their way to the ballgame from the all-new Farmer John Tailgater mobile food truck that will also make its debut in the right field parking lot of Dodger stadium prior to the game.

The Farmer John Tailgater is equipped with three big-screen TVs and a VIP lounge that features a faux baseball-field turf floor.

Each year, visitors to Dodger Stadium consume about 2.2 million Dodger Dogs and now they can add to the experience with smoked sausage, said Greg Longstreet, president, Farmer John. Farmer John Smoked Sausages are made using natural pork with no fillers or by-products, and no MSG, gluten or soy fillers

Los Angeles-based Farmer John is a wholly owned subsidiary of Hormel Foods Corporation and it produces more than 1,200 products for the retail and foodservice channels in the western U.S.
