SPRINGDALE, ARK. — Kent Harrison, vice president of marketing and premium programs for Tyson Foods’ Fresh Meats division, has been named the National Agri-Marketing Association's (NAMA) Agribusiness Leader of the Year.

The award recognizes outstanding leadership in private, public or academic service and is given each year to a senior executive at an agribusiness.

Harrison, who joined the Tyson Fresh Meats team as director of marketing in 2008, received the award April 7 at NAMA's annual conference.
