MEMPHIS, TENN. – Monogram Foods hired Jana Haynes as its next chief financial officer.

The company said Hayes would take over for Cheryl Duffy-Geiger, who is resigning on April 30 after a successful tenure.

“It’s no understatement to say that we would not be where we are today without Cheryl’s guidance and leadership,” said Karl Schledwitz, chief executive officer for Monogram Foods. “She is a true visionary and has been integral in building a strong foundation for continued success.”

Haynes previously worked with Hormel Foods Corp. for more than 20 years. She most recently worked as vice president and controller while also serving on Applegate Farms LLC and MegaMex Foods LLC boards.

“Jana’s proven track record of helping lead companies through growth, combined with her unmatched levels of expertise and leadership skills, makes her a perfect fit for Monogram Foods during our time of unprecedented growth. We are incredibly proud to have her on the team,” Schledwitz said.

During the first months of her tenure, Haynes will work with Duffy Geiger who has worked in the positions since 2018. Once the transition is complete, she will serve on the Monogram executive leadership team and lead finance and accounting operations.

Haynes received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and completed the Executive Development Program at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. She will live in Memphis, headquarters of Monogram Foods.
