OTTAWA, ONTARIO – The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) and HQ Fine Foods recently announced it is recalling certain Quality fast foods brand and Hygaard Fine Foods Ltd. brand sandwiches from the marketplace due to possible Listeria monocytogenes contamination.

The recall started following test results from the CFIA and included 17 different products. The entire list is available here.

All of the products showed a “best before dates” of Feb. 11, 2022, or earlier.

There have been no reported illnesses linked to consumption of the sandwiches.

CFIA said it is conducting a food safety investigation which may lead to a recall of other products. The agency will notify the public through updated food recall warnings.

The recalled products were sold throughout Canada.
