WASHINGTON —Todd A. Turner has been appointed vice-president of industry affairs for the Grocery Manufacturers Association. Prior to joining the G.M.A., Mr. Turner was vice-president of membership and urban affairs for the Food Marketing Institute.

Bailey, president and chief executive officer of the G.M.A. “He is a veteran of the retail and CPG industries with a proven track record of providing first-rate member service as an association executive. He is well-equipped to help food, beverage and consumer product manufacturers deliver on their promise to provide safe, healthy and affordable products to consumers.”


In the newly created position, Mr. Turner will have responsibility for the day-to-day operations of G.M.A.’s Industry Affairs Department and will lead the association’s efforts in its sales and supply chain and technology practices. He will report to Stephen Sibert, senior vice-president of industry affairs.
