GREENWOOD, SC. – After investigating a shooting at the Carolina Pride pork processing plant on Aug. 12, the Greenwood Police Department arrested a suspect.

Rodriguez Lavorsia Greene, 30, was charged with two counts of attempted murder along with a possession of a weapon during a violent crime. 

“An argument that began between the suspect and another employee continued into the plant cafeteria where the suspect drew a handgun and fired several times, striking two different employees,” Greenwood Police said. Both victims received gunshot wounds to their legs that were non-life threatening.”

According to the police information, Green ran from the property before officers arrived at the scene.
