ROBARDS, KY. — Tyson Foods and the Henderson County authorities said they are investigating an April 11 fire at a poultry plant in Robards, Ky.

Local news reports said there were no injuries or structural damage to the facility, which employs about 1,300 workers. A dispatcher said the front part of the building and cooker were on fire.

“We’re investigating a fire that happened at a Tyson Foods facility in Robards, Kentucky Sunday afternoon,” said a Tyson spokesperson. “Our team members were immediately evacuated and fortunately, none of them were injured. We appreciate the quick response of local fire fighters who quickly put out the fire and helped our team members.”
