ATLANTA – Church’s Chicken entered the ongoing chicken sandwich wars with a new offering.

The quick-service restaurant announced its chicken sandwich on Oct. 26. Church’s version features all-white meat chicken breast filet hand-breaded with Church’s proprietary homestyle seasoning and buttermilk. The sandwich also features a brioche bun, pickles and mayo.

“We are experts in bone-in chicken, but the fan demand for that same level of quality and flavor in a boneless fried chicken sandwich from Church’s was emphatic and persistent, so we got to work and delivered,” said Brian Gies, global chief marketing officer for Church’s. “Our culinary team truly outdid themselves on this masterpiece, which combines everything great about Church’s, between two buns.”

Church’s will offer a spicy chicken sandwich version with spicy mayo and jalapeno peppers on the side.

The chicken sandwich starts at $3.99 with combos going to $5.99. Sandwiches can be purchased via drive-thru, carry out and order ahead at restaurants. Church’s also partnered with DoorDash to be the exclusive delivery platform for the product launch.
