LEESBURG, IND. – Through the end of the year on its social media channels, Maple Leaf Farms will showcase its commitment to animal welfare and its vertical integration with a weekly series of virtual tours that include videos and photos on its social media platforms.

“This holiday season we are focusing on transparency at Maple Leaf Farms with our virtual tours on social media,” said Olivia Tucker, marketing manager, Duck Division, Maple Leaf Farms Inc. “We are highlighting the hard work that all of our farmers and employees put into every step from farm to fork to ensure our ducks are raised in the most responsible and humane manner possible.”

The #MLFarmToFork social media campaign has been part of Maple Leaf Farms’ year long effort to give a behind the scenes look at its entire operation, including duck farms, hatchery, feed mill and food processing operations, as well as packaging processes for retail markets.

Maple Leaf encourages anyone who wants to learn about the steps and processes it uses to bring ducks and duck products to market to follow Maple Leaf Farms on Facebook and Instagram.

Maple Leaf Farms is a fourth-generation family business founded in 1958. It is a leading producer of duck products and supplies retail and foodservice markets throughout the world.
