WOOSTER, Ohio – Certified Angus Beef (CAB) announced several changes to its leadership team over the past few months.

The company started with the executive team, where Steve Ringle was promoted to executive vice president of business analysis. Ringle has nearly 20 years of experience with CAB, including customer service and business development. Pam Cottrell was also added to the team as senior vice president of people and culture. She has spent almost 20 years on the brand’s high performing and diverse group of employees.

Finally, Bruce Cobb will join the executive team as executive vice president of production. He spent the last 14 years as a general manager of Consolidated Beef Producers along with leadership roles at the San Antonio Livestock Show and Rodeo, Daymon Worldwide, US Meat Export Federation and Texas Beef Council.

Stika, president of Certified Angus Beef. “It takes a dedicated and creative group of people to move this brand forward, and I’m excited to leverage the experience and skillset of this team to position our partners from gate to plate for ongoing success.”

In the business development section of the brand, three new vice presidents will focus on supporting sales growth with strategic planning, delivering customer solutions and developing new opportunities.

Sara Scott has been promoted to vice president of foodservice. Scott has more than 10 years of experience in distributor and restaurant strategy, training and marketing. Next, David O’Diam moves into vice president of retail after more than 10 years of skill with meat science, merchandising and training solutions to retailers nationwide. Also, Cody Jones will start his new role of vice president of international after years with foodservice sales and the global marketplace.

Under marketing, four new people have come into work areas to help CAB customers and partners from around the world create individualized experiences and conversations.

Deanna Walenciak has worked for 20 years at CAB doing marketing and education, and was recently named vice president of domestic brand marketing. Plus, with more than two decades of experience, Christy Johnson was promoted to vice president of branding, leading advertising, research and brand loyalty. Melissa Brewer will be the new vice president of communications after working in communication, public relations and consumer engagement for more than 10 years. Lastly, Gebran Charbine, who came with experience in Middle Eastern beef and most recently served the brand’s customers in 50 countries, was named vice president of international and ethnic brand marketing.
