OTTAWA, Ontario – The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) has a new resource that brings its mission to life for the public the agency serves. Chronicle 360 features articles, videos, vlogs and podcasts that cover a wide range of topics that demonstrates how CFIA uses science to inform the agency’s work in food safety and plant and animal health.

Chronicle 360 is a platform for scientists, inspectors and subject-matter experts to offer their perspectives of how CFIA works alongside industry to protect consumers from food fraud, for example. The public also can learn how detector dogs help keep prohibited food, animal and plant products out of Canada or how to recognize the signs of emerald ash borer, among many other topics.
