AUSTIN, Minn. – Hormel Corp. announced Sept. 23 that the highly anticipated limited-edition SPAM Pumpkin Spice sold out in less than seven hours on and The product was available in two-packs for $8.98.

"SPAM fans have been waiting four years since our last new variety debut, so we are happy to introduce a two-pack of SPAM Pumpkin Spice for a limited time," said Jason Hron, SPAM brand manager. "Early reviews from consumers note the product is a mix of rich savory flavors with a hint of sweetness, making it a perfect and easy answer for those warm flavor cravings in the fall."

The limited-edition flavor features a blend of seasonal spices including cinnamon, clove, allspice and nutmeg. According to the company, SPAM Pumpkin Spice can be incorporated to several warm recipes, ranging from grilled cheeses to fall hashes as well as brunch dishes like savory waffles, frittatas and breakfast burritos.
