PITTSBURGH and CHICAGO – Bruno Keller was named president of Kraft Heinz Canada. Keller succeeds Nina Barton who is taking the newly created role of chief growth officer for the company’s global business.

Keller brings 20 years of experience in the consumer packaged goods industry with a proven track record of building brands and delivering results, Kraft Heinz Canada said. Most recently, he has been head of category for Canada since 2018. Before that, he was head of Kraft Heinz for southern Europe.

Keller joined the company in 2014 as director of Trade Marketing and Revenue Management in Italy. He later became managing director of the Italian business. By the end of 2016, Keller was leading the South Europe Business, which includes France, Spain and Portugal.

“I am truly excited to take on the role as president of Kraft Heinz Canada,” Keller said. “Canada offers many challenges and exciting opportunities for growth, and I look forward to working with the team and building on the many successes that Nina has created.”

Keller, a native of Brazil, earned a specialization from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern Univ., a master’s in sales and marketing from Fundação Getulio Vargas, one of Brazil's top universities, and studied business administration at the Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina.
