Anyone who is interested in eating bacon for cash might have a golden opportunity.

Riverside, California-based Farmer Boys restaurant chain has been searching for a bacon intern to taste bacon for eight hours and get paid $1,000.

From Aug. 6-20, applicants who are 18 years or older were asked to post a photo or video on their personal Instagram account with an explanation about why they would be the best Bacon Intern for Farmer Boys. Applicants must tag @FarmerBoysFood and use #FarmerBoysBaconIntern in their caption.

Farmer Boys said it will review the applications and pick a winner on Aug. 27.
