WASHINGTON – Tyson Foods Inc. announced on April 15, the recall of about 39,078 lbs. of frozen chicken produced at its Pine Bluff, Arkansas processing plant on Jan. 31, 2019. Consumer complaints about extraneous material in Tyson’s Weaver brand of fully cooked chicken patty products precipitated the action, according to the US Dept. of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service.

The products that are part of the recall are packed in 26 oz., resealable plastic bags labeled with the establishment number “P-13456” on the back of the bag and on the front of the bag are labeled as “Weaver CHICKEN BREAST PATTIES BREADED CHICKEN BREAST PATTIES WITH RIB MEAT” with a best if used by date of Jan. 31, 2020” and include the following lot codes: 0319PBF0617, 0319PBF0618, 0319PBF0619, 0319PBF0620, 0319PBF0621, 0319PBF0622, 0319PBF0623, or 0319PBF0600.
