OKLAHOMA CITY – Sonic Drive-In announced on May 1 that customers can add a King’s Hawaiian bun to either the Classic Crispy Chicken Sandwich or Sonic Burger.

The King’s Hawaiian Chicken Club will feature 100 percent all-white chicken meat or the King’s Hawaiian Burger will feature a 100 percent beef patty. Both will feature lettuce, tomato, bacon and natural Swiss cheese. Both sandwiches are finished with a Sonic Signature Sauce which blends honey mustard and barbecue sauce.

“Combining sweet and savory flavors makes any dish greater than the sum of its parts,” said Scott Uehlein, vice president of product innovation and development for Sonic. “With our new King’s Hawaiian Clubs, we upgraded the familiar flavors our guests have come to love with the sweetness of King’s Hawaiian bread balanced by our savory Signature Sauce and boosted by smooth Swiss cheese to create something that’s going to taste and feel as warm and welcoming as Hawaii.”

The King’s Hawaiian Clubs are only available for a limited time at participating locations.
