NEW YORK – Katz’s Delicatessen is expanding its home shipping service to Canada marking the company’s international debut.

Deli meats, matzoh ball soup, latkes and other Katz’s Deli items will be available for shipping individually or through one of the deli’s packages such as the Taste of New York which includes pastrami, corned beef, salami, frankfurters and classic sandwich fixings. The company also offers a monthly subscription service.

“We have worked to expand our home shipping service internationally for many years now, and we are thrilled for Canada to be the first country we export to,” said Katz’s Deli owner Jake Dell. “It’s a huge moment of growth for us, as we are still very much a family-run local business at heart. We’re so excited to be able to share this special deli experience we’ve created over the last 130 years with our neighbors to the north.”

Katz’s Deli was founded in 1888 at the Lower East Side of New York City. The family owned business is a popular destination among locals, tourists and celebrities and the storefront is considered a LES landmark. In a first for the company, Brooklyn’s Dekalb Market became home to a second Katz’s Deli in June 2017.
