DETROIT – Little Caesars announced the promotion of long-time global marketing executive Edward Gleich to the role of chief innovation officer. Gleich joined the company in 2011.
“During his seven years with Little Caesars, Ed has successfully led our global marketing function, contributing to strong sales and store level profit growth,” said Little Caesars President and CEO David Scrivano. “With innovation at the forefront of the rapidly changing restaurant industry, I’m excited to see the results he’ll achieve over the next several years.”
During his tenure, Gleich was involved with the launch of the DEEP!DEEP! Dish Pizza and the ExtraMostBestest pizza. He also helped add thin crust to the menu and promoted a number of limited-time offers including the Bacon Wrapped DEEP!DEEP! Dish pizza and the Pretzel Crust pizza.
In his newly-created role, Gleich will help develop future ideas and processes, from creation to implementation.
