FRANKLIN, Tenn. – Carl’s Jr., a subsidiary of CKE Restaurants, announced on March 27 that it launched the new Bacon Truffle Angus Burger which will be available for a limited time.

The burger will feature a 100 percent Black Angus beef patty topped with white cheddar truffle sauce, two slices of applewood smoked bacon, onion strings, Swiss cheese, caramelized onion and mayonnaise.

“The launch of our new Bacon Truffle Angus Burger connects back to our dedication to introducing bold, craveable and unexpected flavors to our menu in interesting ways,” said Owen Klein, vice president of culinary innovation, CKE Restaurants. “During the testing phase, Carl’s Jr. Bacon Truffle Angus Burger outperformed all benchmarks, including taste, uniqueness and quality – and we’re thrilled to add the elegant taste of truffle to the menu.”

Bacon Truffle Cheese Fries were also introduced to menus for a limited time. The fries are covered with white cheddar truffle sauce and Applewood-smoked bacon pieces.

Bacon Truffle Angus Burger will start at $5.99, and Bacon Truffle Fries will start at $2.79.
