KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Multivac Inc. received the 2019 Supplier of the Year from the North American Meat Institute (NAMI) on Feb. 12 during the 2019 International Production & Processing Expo (IPPE) in Atlanta.

“We are humbled and honored to receive this recognition and acknowledgment from the North American Meat Institute and its packer/processor membership,” said Multivac CEO and President Matt Malott during the award presentation. “This recognition is held in high regard throughout the supplier community and is an achievement which we all strive to attain.”

Multivac said in a press release that it is focused on emerging technologies including IoT for predictive maintenance and maximum production efficiencies resulting in improved OEE and lowest cost of ownership. The company also works on hygienic designed equipment for food safety in the supply chain.
