SAN FRANCISCO – Made by True, makers of South African-inspired biltong and other meat snacks, recently opened “Carne Diem!”, a store and headquarters in San Francisco.

Visitors to “Carne Diem!” will find the company’s entire range of products — trail “re-mixes”, biltong and jerky — and branded merchandise. The store also will be available for special events and tastings.

“Snackable meats have come a long way, and we hope that trend continues as people embrace new flavors, forms, and occasions for snacking,” said Jess Thomas, CEO, and co-founder of Made by True. “Our new flagship store in San Francisco brings the True brand to life in a way that is both educational and, hopefully, fun. We are excited to connect one-on-one with the Bay Area community and its many visitors by providing them with authentic food and one-of-a-kind experiences.”

“Carne Diem!” will also serve as Made by True corporate offices. Locals and visitors will be able to meet with the founders and learn more about the history and origin of the company. Thomas co-founded the company in 2015 with college friends Kevin Hix, CFO, and James Evans who oversees sales for the company.
