A McDonald’s employee in South Carolina was charged with third-degree assault and battery on her manager on Nov. 9. The employee tried to force-feed her a strip of bacon according to a Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office police report obtained by the Island Packet.

According to the report, a manager at the restaurant told the employee to stop eating bacon in the kitchen while she was working. After she refused the manager told the employee’s boss, prompting her to reportedly back the manager into a corner of the kitchen and “shove hot crispy bacon in (her) face.”

The manager tried to push her away but the employee hit her on the left side of the face while hanging onto the bacon, according to the report.

Another employee tried to break up the incident and then called 911. According to the Island Packet, police arrived and a judge issued an arrest warrant for the employee.
