SEATTLE – Amazon announced plans to expand its delivery service from Whole Foods Markets on Oct. 24.

Amazon Prime members in Albuquerque, Birmingham, Boise, Charleston, Colorado Springs, Hartford, Kansas City, Providence, Salt Lake City and Stamford will have access to the service.  The company also extend delivery to more neighborhoods in Boston and Cincinnati.

With the latest expansion, grocery delivery for Amazon Prime Now members is now available in 63 cities, with more to come later this year.

After launching in February, Amazon and Whole Foods said the service was available for orders over $35. One-hour delivery is also offered on minimum orders of $35 for an extra charge of $7.99.

Additionally, Amazon Prime members can order food from Whole Foods online and pick up their order in 30 minutes. Customers can choose free pickup in as little as an hour on orders of $35, or in 30 minutes for $4.99. The grocery pickup service is now available in 14 cities since being launched in August.

On Sept. 26,  delivery service was expanded to include Ann Arbor and Detroit, Michigan; Jacksonville, Florida; Madison and Milwaukee, Wisconsin; Omaha, Orlando, Florida; St. Louis; Tampa, Florida; and Tulsa, Oklahoma.

“Prime Now delivery continues to be a hit with our customers, and we’re excited to introduce the service in 10 new cities,” said Christina Minardi, Whole Foods Market executive vice president of operations. “And for our customers in Boise, Jacksonville, Las Vegas, San Diego, Tampa and West Palm Beach, we’re thrilled to also offer the option of grocery pickup. It’s just another way we’re making it even easier for more customers to enjoy Whole Foods Market’s healthy and organic food.”
