The Sausage Grits Cakes are part of the Southern Bowls lineup at Cracker Barrel Old Country Store.

LEBANON, Tenn. – Cracker Barrel Old Country Store recently launched its take on the bowl concept with a limited-time offer of classic meals with a Southern twist. Southern Bowls will appear on Cracker Barrel menus starting March 19 through May 6 for $8.99 each.

The Fried Chicken Benedict Bowl Includes fried chicken, two over-easy eggs, pimento cheese sauce, and fresh parsley on a split buttermilk biscuit and served with new sweet pepper and red skin potato hash.

The Ham n’ Maple Bacon Bowl features maple pepper bacon, hickory-smoked country ham, and sugar-cured ham, tossed in sweet maple onion jam with new sweet pepper and red skin potato hash and two scrambled eggs. The dish is topped with shredded Colby cheese and served with scratch buttermilk biscuits.

Finally, the Sausage, Grits Cakes n’ Green Tomato Gravy Bowl has two deep-fried stone-ground pimento cheese grits cakes and sweet pepper and red skin potato hash topped with sausage patties, two scrambled eggs, and shredded Colby cheese. The dish is topped with a green tomato gravy with fresh parsley and served with scratch buttermilk biscuits.
