LOUISVILLE, Ky. – KFC wants its customers to show how much they love chicken this Valentine’s Day.

That’s why the quick-service chicken restaurant will offer a fried chicken scratch ‘n’ sniff Valentine's Day card when purchasing a $10 Chicken Share at participating KFC US restaurants.
KFC’s valentines come in four different designs. Each valentine features Colonel Sanders with some of his favorite KFC menu items, accompanied by various love lines.

“Some years you have to search high and low for the perfect gift for your Valentine,” said Andrea Zahumensky, KFC US CMO. “This year, we decided to make things easy. Skip the candy and go straight for the fried chicken! Grab dinner and some scratch ‘n’ sniff Valentine’s Day cards and share your love of fried chicken with your valentine.”

KFC is also giving digital and social fans a way to spread the love by partnering with Tenor, a mobile GIF search engine. The two companies created a series of animated KFC valentines for sharing with friends and family in popular messaging apps. Users who search love and singlehood-related items on the keyboard can find them on Facebook, Twitter and Whatsapp, among other messaging platforms.
