Dickey's Barbecue Pit launched a mobile app.

DALLAS – A new mobile app puts the smoky goodness of Dickey’s Barbecue Pits at its customers fingertips. The chain announced the new app on Jan. 25 and will allow customers to order products for delivery or to-go.

Convenience is the main driver behind the technology launch, which will include a loyalty component that will begin in March, according to Laura Rea Dickey, CEO of Dickey's Barbecue Restaurants Inc.

“We are living in an on-demand world where most guests will choose the location of their next meal primarily based on convenience," she said.

Customers using the app can order single menu items up to catering orders for large groups for either pickup at their local restaurant or for delivery. The forthcoming loyalty program is a feedback-based rewards system according to the company.

"Our new app rewards our guests for their loyalty, fulfills the demand for convenience and most importantly, provides the authentic Texas-style barbecue they love,” Dickey said.

Dickey’s is billed as the largest barbecue restaurant chain in the US with more than 550 locations in 44 states.
