BRIDGEWATER, N.J. —  Applegate, a Hormel Foods subsidiary that produces organic meat, cheese and frozen food products, announced on Jan. 24 a partnership with Whole30, the popular 30-day elimination diet that excludes grains, dairy, legumes, alcohol and sweeteners.

As an official Whole30-approved partner, Applegate saw this as an opportunity for Whole30 customers to find natural and organic meat products to go with the diet.

“At Applegate, we are motivated to continuously offer delicious food choices that fit in with a diverse range of eating habits and lifestyles,” said Nicole Glenn, Applegate vice president of marketing. “We are delighted to be working alongside Whole30 to deliver Whole30 compliant options to consumers.”

Mellissa Hartwig, the co-creator of the Whole30 diet, expressed her satisfaction to associate with Applegate.

"Applegate products – like their hot dogs, prosciutto, and dinner sausages – have been a staple in my household for years," Hartwig said. "Their commitment to animal welfare and clean ingredients makes them a choice I can feel good about, and their convenience makes it easy for me to get a delicious Whole30 dinner on the table even when I'm short on time."

Applegate offers an array of Whole30-approved products include Organic Turkey Burgers, Natural Grilled Chicken Breast Strips, Natural No Sugar Bacon, Organic Dinner Sausages and Natural Beef Hot Dogs among many others.
