LAVAL, Quebec – The St. Hubert Group, a unit of Cara Operations, was tapped to market, manage and expand the Harvey’s brand in the Canadian province of Quebec. St. Hubert will supervise the opening of 45 new Harvey’s restaurants in the province in addition to combining Harvey’s restaurants with certain St. Hubert restaurants.

St. Hubert has assembled a team dedicated to expanding Harvey’s footprint, which will include stand-alone restaurants and new combination restaurants feature St. Hubert and Harvey’s. The combined restaurants will offer their same menus. Additionally, Harvey’s will be refurbishing and updating existing restaurants along with opening new locations.

Harvey’s was founded in 1959 in the province of Ontario; the chain has had a presence in Quebec since 1964. The brand currently operates 46 restaurants in Quebec and 274 restaurants across Canada. The company employs more than 6,000 workers.

St. Hubert Group operates 121 St. Hubert BBQ rotisseries in Quebec, Ontario and New Brunswick. The unit of Cara also has a retail division which manufactures and distributes several food products under the St. Hubert and Cara restaurant brands, including sauces, spare ribs, tourtieres [Canadian meat pies] and chicken pot pies.
